Hockey Superstars!!

We live at the end of a street that borders one of the only urban farms around. It is a peaceful place where the cows come to greet us, where the neighbours say hello and let you borrow their wheelbarrow, where the kids still play hockey on the street. We are so blessed! This is one afternoon where Elyse tried the goalie gear on for the first time. I couldn't resist a video clip! Enjoy.

Hockey Day in Abbotsford...

One of the newest features in our city is this great hockey and entertainment sportsplex. Here we are watching the Heat game from box seats!
Our friend Andy was called to play back up goalie for the weekend. He hadn't played pro hockey for the last 10 years, but the youngin's couldn't score on him!
We had such a great time! Thanks for sharing with us, Dar!!

A Toothless Ruth.
