Every year Ruth seems to enjoy dressing in her fancy dress and posing in front of the Christmas tree. Every year, I oblige and take her photo. Every year, she gets crazier. Now, she has competition! Let me show you what I mean...

Getting better

Hi! I'm learning how to change backgrounds, add photos and add postings. Soon I'll be a blogger extraordinaire! Here's a photo of the VanDyke grandkids on our couch at home. It's so much fun to play with the cousins when they're over. Mostly they just play "chase" or trains. It can get quite loud. Christmas is going to be interesting with the 3 youngest! Mom and Dad are planning to take the 3 oldest on the train to Vancouver on Saturday. Should be a good time.

We went Christmas caroling with the school this evening. It was a cold evening, but we sang under the stars! The girls loved jingling their bells and singing at the top of their lungs. I am so thankful that the kids have a school that does community events like this. Thanks to the teachers for organizing and for all those who came out! It was a lot of fun.
